TotalCross platform supports Brazilian 2010 Census

The IBGE (a Brazilian government entity) is currently using Totalcross as the primary platform to develop the 2010 census application. The 2010 census is going to take place between August and December, using more than 300,000 devices among PDAs and netbooks with the TotalCross virtual machine installed on them. The pre-census is already underway to test the overall process, including the data entry application. Look some screens.

Tekann released TKN Mobile Studio

Tekann gave a presentation on November in Santa Cruz do Sul (Brazil/RS) to officially launch TKN Mobile Studio, a tool based on TotalCross. The new tool provides a WYSIWYG interface editor, allows easy integration with market databases and a query browser. See more….
